• Jul 6: Bloodletting
  
  GK Rolando Matuguinas and two sons of SK Hermoso Matuguinas (Joven and Jovan) donated blood (12,000 cc) in a bloodletting event sponsored by St Paul Parish GKKs under the supervision of the Philippine National Red Cross. Council 8824 also contributed 1 1/2 cases of beer for the blood donors.

• Oct 19: 19TH Council Foundation Anniversary
  
  Families of Knights and guests trooped to Dumoy Beach Garden Resort for this annual celebration. Excluding guests, 113 Knights' family members attended the whole day affair.

• Nov 9: Canonical Erection of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish
  
  Participated and donated one lechon for the celebration that followed after the morning mass officiated by Archbishop Msgr. Fernando Capalla.
  
  
• Nov 9: Distribution of Iodized Salt to Indigents
  
  At around 2PM, 23 members of our Council gathered at the Basketball Court of Taal Village in Bangkal Davao City. Taal is a village of "squatters" in which almost all families living in the area are indigents. We distributed 2 kilos of iodized salt to every family, for a total of 186 families. A lecture on the importance of iodized salt to health preceeded the salt distribution. We also served snacks to the children. The activity lasted until 6PM.
  
  
• Dec 28: Free Medical and Dental Clinic to Indigents
  
  
  We started early at 6AM with some Brother Knights preparing the venue at the covered court of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. The registration of patients for the Medical and Dental Clinic started at 9AM. There were 5 medical doctors, 11 dentists, 3 nurses, 2 medical technologists, and 68 Brother Knights who were present. We bought and solicited medicines for the project and it was given to all patients for free. We also served snacks for everybody and lunch for the medical personnel. The activities benefited 126 medical patients and 107 dental patients. We closed the Free Clinic at 5PM and proceeded to the GK's residence for an assessment and celebration of the activity's success. The fellowship lasted until 11:30PM.

• Lenten Season
  
  Apr 4: 1PM - 6PM, 25 council members together with 22 spouses attended the recollection spearheaded by the Presentation of Marys Sisters.
  
  Apr 8: Holy Thursday, 13 fourth degree knights of our council served as honor guards in the Holy Thursday mass, washing of the feet, and vigil. Six honor guards served at the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and seven were assigned at the PM Chapel.
  
  
  
  
  Apr 9: Good Friday, brother Knights acted as Pilate (Boy Gordo, Herod (Ed Tanudtanud), Soldiers (Wymin Lee, Phil Mangkikis), Apostles (Floro Aguila, Mar Rebuldad) and reader (Noel Villamor) in the tableau of the Way of the Cross.
  
  
  
  Apr 11: Easter Sunday - sponsored Easter Egg hunting at Presentation of Mary Chapel grounds. 76 knights and about 150 family members and church goers participated. 120 pieces of colorful hard boiled eggs were hidden among the bushes within the chapel ground. Small change were given to children as incentives and snacks were prepared for everybody.

  Provided honor guards for the arrival and procession of the icon of the Virgin of the Poor.

  Congratulations to SK Mauricio G. Jovillo and SK Jose Herostice A. Paņares who became fourth degree Knights at the rites conducted in General Santos City officiated by the fourth degree Master - SK Renato Fuentes. SKs Jun and Jose will join the Bishop Alfredo B. Bacquial Assembly #2444.
  
  
• Jun 12: 8th Sacerdotal Anniversary of Fr. Danny Dotollo and Welcome to Sister Eleonor, OSB.
