Knights of Columbus - Philippines Bangkal-Davao Council 8824

The Knights of Columbus Bangkal-Davao Council No. 8824 sponsored this mass wedding for "Mansibados" on December 29, 2004. Nineteen (19) couples were wedded in the ceremony presided by Rev Fr Danilo B. Dotollo and Rev Anthony E. Silvosa. The wedding took place at the covered court of Central Park Subdivision Phase 2 as the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish does not have a church building as yet. The Bangkal Knights exerted effort in decorating the venue with bamboos, ferns, and orchids. It was a dignified wedding with Honor Guards at the aisle complete with wine, a wedding cake (thanks to Sis Jane and Juria), light reception, photography, and video coverage. Mansibados are unwed couples who have lived together for five years or more.
