[AUG 8, 2004] Arrozcaldo at San Juan Village

The 8824 Knights cooked arrozcaldo on a large cauldron which filled 120 yummy bowls for our hungry neighbors at San Juan Village, Bangkal, Davao City. This event was on a Sunday after the 7:30AM Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish where the Knights do their mass offering every 2nd Sunday of the month.

A fellowship lunch followed (bottom pictures) with the Knights enjoying a treat of "kinilaw" (Filipino sashimi), grilled bluefin tuna, and rice. We went home at 1 PM with a full stomach and heart. After a brief break, we gathered again at 1:30PM at the council house for a clean-up operation. Afterwards, we had our usual Sunday afternoon dose of basketball and table tennis. Oh yes! our Sundays are really tight, at 6PM we gathered again for our nightly house-to-house Rosary.
