He was one of the charter members of Council 8824 and served as Outside Guard and Recorder during the early years of the Council. When the Council Choir was organized he was one of two soloists. Brod Romy is a natural comedian and an enjoyable person to be with. The 8824 Knights would surely miss his absence. He was serving as Recorder [CY 2002-2003] when he died of cardiac arrest.
