[Aug 11, 2002] FREE DENTAL CLINIC 2002 These amazing twelve people helped the 8824 Knights conduct a Free Dental Clinic which benefitted 104 people last August 11, 2002. They were Drs. Efren D. Venus, Kathryn A. Go, Sheila I. Bacus, Freitze J. Gotera, Rovic Ire Cuasito, Ethel V. Cuasito, Emmanuel T. Sola, Lotis B. Uy, and Joan M. Sombilon. Seated were Mrs Teresita V. Dalupe and Lourdes R. Ibaņez from Puan Health Center.

As a tribute to K of C Founder Fr. Michael J. McGivney, whose birthday falls on August 12, Bangkal Davao Council #8824 and Columbian Squires #03956 successfully conducted a free dental clinic at Central Park Subdivision Phase I covered court Bangkal, Davao City last Sunday Aug 11, 2002. More than 100 patients of various ages were able to benefit from this activity. Residents from nearby villages flocked as early as 8 AM to avail of free dental supplies and tooth extraction. The free dental clinic lasted around 1 PM. This program is part of the Order's commitment to reach out to our less fortunate neighbors. The project was financed from Council funds with solicitations from Consolidated Plans, Inc., Coca-cola Bottlers Inc., TADECO, Anchor Bank, Multi-Car Repair Shop, Mr Desiderio Lim and Davao City Administrator Atty Leo Delos Santos. GK Ben Lara and Community Director Alex Babao coordinated this event.
