CELEBRATING EASTER ...
So whose egg is it? Children of ages 4-12 scampered
to find the eggs during the Easter hunt at the PM Chapel
grounds last March 30. This scene was one of the drama which unfolded with
the 4-year old in green protesting to the Grand Knight amid sobs because
she was the first to find the egg but can't reach it. The GK handed out
a P100 bill but the issue was only partly resolved as the 4-year old wants
the egg and not the money.
One hundred eggs were colorfully painted by the
KofC team headed by Bro. Ed Tanudtanud's family. An egg and an Easter
message were wrapped in plastic before they were hidden early Sunday
morning. About 70 children came to search for the eggs after the 7 AM
Mass. The 8824 Knights being the sponsor made
all the preparations and donated prizes and snacks. They saw to it that
no children got hurt in the "stampede" and that each child got an egg. It was
lively and fun.
