October 21, 1984 is the date the Supreme Council signed the Charter Certificate of Bangkal-Davao Council 8824. This year, its 16th anniversary, we opened the celebration with a mass offering for our departed Brother Knights at St Paul Parish. The widows were also invited to the mass as well as to the beach party that followed. Everybody was in a hurry to go to the beach and so only a few Knights were able to pose in this souvenir photo. Also on the picture is the founding GK Teofilo Venus and the current GK Ben Lara.

The BEACH PARTY was a jampacked affair with more than 100 in attendance. We ran short of chairs as well as tables to put the lechons and food. The beach party held at Dumoy Garden Resort last October 22 doubled as a family activity as Brother Knights brought along their spouses, children, and home companions.
